Jack Grealish has revealed how he prepares for Manchester City matches and disclosed the very every-day meal he has before games.
The 28-year-old has been at the Etihad Stadium since a £100m transfer in the summer of 2021 from boyhood club Aston Villa.
The move has been a huge success for the attacking midfielder, who was part of the treble-winning City squad which swept away all before them last season.

Since arriving at City, he has scored 14 goals in 108 games and is currently with the first-team group in Saudi Arabia as the Blues look to win an inaugural FIFA Club World Cup.
And he has now given some insight into how he prepares for matches under Guardiola - including his pre-match meal.
Grealish was asked by recently retired goalkeeper Ben Foster how he goes about preparing for matches in an interview ahead of Amazon's list of Christmas fixtures.

And during that discussion, the England international revealed the very common British meal he eats before games and it's an absolute classic which will have been a staple for many of us at times.
Of course, it's beans on toast.
Asked by Foster how he is an hour or so before kick-off, Grealish said: "You can do whatever you want, the manager is so chill. In his head he thinks ‘you do whatever you need to do to make sure you’re ready as soon as you go on the pitch’ so anyone would tell you I just eat when I’m ready to eat.

"You know some people have a set time, exact food they’ve had for years – me, sometimes I just eat beans on toast, just whatever.”
It's not Grealish's only preferred choice of meal on a matchday, with the winger previously revealing he's partial to a cheat meal after games have finished.
Foster responded by asking him what he is like not long before games, to see if he is any different.
He said: "So we’re about to walk down into the tunnel, game kicks off in 10 minutes time - is this the point for you where it starts to get real? Do you actually start thinking about the game and what you want to do?”

But Grealish seems to be incredibly chilled before matches begin.
He responded: "You know what I’m actually so chilled. I’m not really a mad overthinker. I’m just quite chilled before games but I understand everyone has their own ways where they need to get into a zone.”
