Luton Town manager Rob Edwards led his players off the pitch after captain Tom Lockyer went down during the match against Bournemouth.
On Saturday afternoon, newly promoted Luton travelled to the Vitality Stadium to take on in-form Bournemouth.
The Hatters went ahead in the third minute thanks to a goal from Elijah Adebayo.

However, their lead vanished in the second half as Dominic Solanke levelled the score with 58 minutes on the clock.
Shortly after the hour mark, the match was halted after an incident involving Luton captain Lockyer.
According to Bournemouth Echo journalist Tom Crocker, who wrote: “Real concern as Tom Lockyer goes down with a head injury. Luton boss Rob Edwards immediately ran onto the pitch with the medical staff to get all the players away. Dean Court has fallen silent.”

After receiving treatment on the pitch, Lockyer was stretchered off as the entire stadium applauded.
This was not the first time Lockyer has collapsed during a match as the exact same thing happened during the Championship play-off final at Wembley back in June.
Speaking about the incident at the time, Lockyer told BBC: “I've had the operation to fix it and it shouldn't happen again. There's not really any reason to say why that happened.

“I've been given the all-clear - it is what it is and I just want to draw a line under it now and move on. I've had my full heart checked and double checked with all the scans and tests they can do on a heart, and they've all come back positive.”
He added: “I remember running backwards and then I went really light-headed and my legs went really weak straight away, as I was running back. I remember stumbling back and then all I remember was [physiotherapist] Chris Phillips over the top of me, and he was saying 'Locks, you're coming off'.
“I was like 'no mate, no mate, I'm fine', but he was saying 'no, it's serious Locks, you've collapsed. You're coming off'. Then it dawned on me that I was on the floor and this is actually serious. I just got really emotional. I couldn't stop crying on the floor.”
