Unseen footage has emerged of Trent Alexander-Arnold's injury against Arsenal, with the full-back showing his elite mentality by playing through the pain.
Alexander-Arnold delivered the free-kick that led to Liverpool's opener at Emirates but suffered an injury with around 20 minutes remaining.
The problem appeared to happen following a duel with Gabriel Martinelli and saw him stay off the pitch for a few seconds.

Footage has emerged of the moment the England international was in some discomfort.
He was seen in serious grimace, holding his knee and even biting his jersey because he was hurting so much.
With Virgil van Dijk suffering from illness, Alexander-Arnold assumed the captain armband and he showed how much of a leader he really is at such a young age by playing on.

It was clear to see that he was not moving well, with Martinelli going past him with ease on a couple of occasions.
But he was still able to somehow have an impact on the game and moved into midfield when youngster Conor Bradley entered the fray for the latter stages of the 2-0 win.
Yet his persistence might have cost him. Alexander-Arnold was seen limping as he left the Emirates and it's since that he has suffered a tear in his knee and will now be out for around three weeks.

"First of all, some not-that-good news, Trent hyperextended his knee during the last game," assistant Pep Ljinders said in his press conference before the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg against Fulham.
"So he has a little tear in the lateral ligament of his knee and he will need time to recover.
"He had a scan and he will be out for a few weeks, so let's see after that.

"He will get some rest and then hopefully he can come back to where he was. "Because this guy was decisive in all the games and was the one who created constantly for us from deep and gave the team a high level of flexibility. We will really miss him."
