Liverpool have reportedly created a shortlist of four players that they hope to sign should Trent Alexander-Arnold leave during the summer.
Alexander-Arnold's future at Liverpool remains up in the air ahead of his contract expiring at the end of the season.
The Englishman has been strongly linked with a move to La Liga giants Real Madrid to re-unite with friend and national teammate Jude Bellingham.

And now, a new report that Liverpool have already drawn up a four-man shortlist of potential replacements for Alexander-Arnold if he doesn't sign a new contract.
According to TEAMtalk, despite becoming more confident in their chances of keeping Alexander-Arnold at the club, the Merseyside club are preparing in case an extension cannot be agreed on.
If that is the case, then Liverpool will hope to sign one of Vanderson, Lutsharel Geertruida, Jeremie Frimpong or Amar Dedic to fill in on the right side of the defence.

Vanderson, who earlier this year was linked with both Real Madrid and Barcelona, has been described by Spanish media outlets as ‘outstanding’.
The 23-year-old is currently under contract until 2028 with Ligue 1 side Monaco, where he has scored one goal and assisted another in 10 matches.
Dutch defenders Lutsharel Geertruida and Jeremie Frimpong have both impressed while playing in the Bundesliga, for RB Leipzig and Beyer Leverkusen respectively.
Geertruida is under contract until 2029, while Frimpong's deal will expire in the summer of 2028.

Meanwhile Dedic's deal with Austrian side RB Salzburg, where he is managed by former Liverpool assistant manager Pep Lijnders, will expire in 2027.
The news comes after journalist David Ornstein confirmed that Alexander-Arnold had well-documented interest Real Madrid but how his contract situation will play out remains unclear.
"I want to be a Liverpool player this season [as a minimum] is what I will say," Alexander-Arnold said via The Athletic.

"I have been at the club 20 years now, I have signed four or five contract extensions and none of those have been played out in public and this one won’t be either.
“The most important thing is trophies if I’m honest.
“I want to win trophies. I’m a player who is highly motivated by winning things and being elite. That’s probably the main factor of anything.
