Alexis Mac Allister has responded to Liverpool star Mohamed Salah after he was conspicuous by his absence from a photo of the Egyptian's 200th goal celebrations with teammates.
Salah netted the equaliser against Crystal Palace last weekend as Jurgen Klopp's side went on to secure a 2-1 win in added time thanks to a stunning injury-time winner from substitute Harvey Elliott.
After his deflected effort flew past Sam Johnstone into the Palace net, Salah's attention quickly turned to securing all three points for the Reds as he chose to cut short his celebrations in front of the travelling fans.

And, in doing so, he failed to properly mark an historic moment as the Egyptian international netted his 200th goal for the club, as well as his 150th in the Premier League.
Speaking on the accolade secured by Salah, Klopp praised the 'special player' after joking about how long it took to reach the milestone. “Pretty impressive, huh? We’ve carried that shirt for two weeks now and finally we could give it to him! It was pretty much the best moment to score it, to be 100% honest," he said before presenting Salah with a commemorative shirt with 200 on it to mark the occasion.
“It’s an incredible number for a super, super special player. I don’t know how often he saved us with the goals he has scored in the right moments. It was a pretty loud reception in the dressing room when I gave him the shirt with the 200 on the back. Players were asking for a speech but I had to go and do the media work!"

Salah has since taken to his personal Instagram account to celebrate the moment with the vast majority of his Liverpool teammates, after being presented with the shirt by Klopp.
However, two Liverpool stars, World Cup winner Mac Allister and defender Joel Matip, missed out on the team photo. A mishap which the Argentinian midfielder wasted no time in joking about, as he added the following comment on Salah's post: "Congratulations momito! Thank you for waiting."

Thiago Alcantara was present in the squad photo, along with Stefan Bajcetic and Diogo Jota as the trio continue their respective recoveries from injury ahead of a busy festive fixture schedule for Klopp's side.
