Mohamed Salah has aimed a brutal dig at Jamie Carragher after the Sky Sports pundit spoke about his contract status on Monday Night Football.
Reds icon Carragher has discussed Salah's situation on a number of occasions over recent months as the 32-year-old enters the final six months of his current deal at Liverpool.
During a segment prior to Monday Night Football getting underway, he claimed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold 'should take a leaf out of the book' of Virgil van Dijk when it comes to speculation surrounding their contract statuses.

He was asked for his reaction to a social media post from Salah on Monday, which showed the Egyptian pictured alongside Alexander-Arnold and Van Dijk during Sunday's 2-2 draw with Manchester United. All three players are out of contract this summer.
Carragher replied: "What I would say, is that Virgil van Dijk has come out of this whole situation this season, as a captain of the club, in a higher esteem, for me.
"The way he's conducted himself, his performances on the pitch, the way he's led the team, the way he was yesterday as well. He hasn't got involved in too much around this.
"It's obviously a really important time for all three players. We know that. But rather than speak about Trent Alexander-Arnold or Mo Salah, I'd probably like to pay tribute to Virgil van Dijk ... he's asked questions, he's knocked it away. Fingers crossed he signs.

"The other two could maybe look at Virgil van Dijk and take a leaf out of his book."
And while Monday Night Football was still on-air during coverage of Wolves vs Nottingham Forest, Salah decided to fire back at Carragher.
He wrote: "I'm starting to think you're obsessed with me," alongside a wink emoji.
In response to Salah's post - which amassed over 20,000 likes in the half an hour after it was posted to Twitter - Carragher wrote: "I've always been obsessed with you, hopefully that obsession will continue next season," alongside a crossed-fingers emoji.
