Some Liverpool fans are convinced that Trent Alexander-Arnold has dropped a major hint about Mohamed Salah's future at the club.
Liverpool have started the 2024/25 Premier League season flawlessly, winning all three matches without conceding a single goal.
Central to their success in the early stages of this season has been Salah, who has scored three goals and assisted another three.

And, amid concerns regarding Salah's future with Liverpool, some fans believe that teammate Alexander-Arnold may have dropped a big hint about the Egyptian's contract negotiations.
Playing a game of fill in the blank for the Premier League website, the Englishman was asked which of his teammates he expects will 'break the internet' this season.
Alexander-Arnold immediately picked Salah as his choice to fill in the blank, with some fans suggesting that he had already achieved this after scoring his 10th goal in nine Old Trafford appearances, while assisting two others, in Liverpool's 3-0 win over long-term rivals Manchester United.

However, other fans believe the right-back may be alluding to something else, writing on reddit: "WRONG. His contract extension announcement will break the Internet. Trent is letting us in on a secret."
Another agreed, replying: "Literally what I thought lol."
While one excited fan, enthusiastically responded: "Don't threaten me with a good time!"
And one pointed out that Salah could break the internet by becoming the highest paid player in the Premier League, writing: "Mo will break the Internet 👀 450k a week incoming."

As it stands, Salah's contract with the Reds is due to expire this summer after joining in the summer of 2017 from Italian side AS Roma in a deal worth £43 million.
In that time, the winger has scored 214 goals in all competitions for Liverpool, winning both the Premier League and Champions League.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the win over United, Salah provided an update on the current situation around his contract.
