The Japan international signed for the Reds from Stuttgart on Friday for a fee of around £17 million.

And Liverpool fans have already gotten a glimpse of their new number three before he even takes to the pitch.

Endo started out in the middle as he attempted to win the ball back from his team-mates.
And it didn't take the 30-year-old long to show off his defensive abilities - at least on a basic scale - as he tackled the ball within seconds to take his position on the outside of the circle.

Having defeated Bournemouth 9-0 at Anfield in this fixture last season, Klopp's attacking charges will hope to find top form soon in order to avoid what would be a disappointing home defeat in their second match of the campaign.
