Paul Merson has named the one transfer which would "take the pool out of Liverpool" if it happened.
The Reds suffered a second consecutive defeat at Anfield on Sunday, with Eberechi Eze's goal in the first half piling more misery on Jurgen Klopp's side.
Liverpool are now winless in three games and the defeat could prove costly as the Merseysiders now find themselves two points behind league leaders Manchester City with six games remaining.

Klopp has already announced he will be ending his stint with the club at the end of the season but Merson believes a potential exit for talisman Mo Salah would have a monumental impact on the team.
Although it's not been perceived as his best campaign, Salah has 23 goals and 13 assists in all competitions.
And Merson believes Liverpool cannot afford to let the 31-year-old go given the numbers he provides.

"If he goes wow, you could take the pool out of Liverpool," the former Arsenal midfielder said, speaking on Sky Sports.
"You're talking about a right winger putting up numbers like that.
"You're talking about Saka, who's a phenomenal footballer.
"He's nowhere near those figures. Him and Martinelli had a breakout season last year.

"They didn't score as many as Salah put together. And Liverpool finished nowhere."
Salah was earmarked as a priority signing by Saudi Pro League side Al Ittihad, who reportedly offered £200 million for his services in the summer.
They are expected to go back in for the Roma man, who is approaching the final year of his Liverpool contract.

However, Jamie Carragher made an interesting point on Sky Sports when he said that Salah was "not at the races" against Crystal Palace and had been "like that for a few weeks now".
Many Liverpool supporters believe it's time to cash in on Salah, who is third in the club's goalscoring charts.
Next up for Liverpool is the Europa League quarter-final second leg against Atalanta, who lead 3-0 going into the home fixture.
