Liverpool are willing to smash the British transfer record to sign a Mohamed Salah replacement, a fresh report has claimed.
Salah has, once again, been Liverpool’s talisman this term, with the Egyptian having scored 22 goals and registered 13 assists in all competitions.
Having rejected a £150millon verbal offer for the attacker last summer, Liverpool could face another battle to keep hold of the 31-year-old at the end of the season.

The player is out of contract in 2025 and is yet to have agreed to an extension, with Saudi Arabia likely to reignite their interest in him in the coming window.
In turn, the Reds may prefer to cash in on Salah this summer, rather than risk losing him for free the following year.
And Sport has claimed that should Salah depart, Liverpool will look to replace him with an established superstar - Vinicius Jr.

The publication alleged that Liverpool, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are all prepared to offer Real €200million (£171million) to sign the Brazilian.
Of course, it’s unlikely that Liverpool would spend such a fee on the player, with Jurgen Klopp having claimed back in February the club did not have similar funds to sign PSG’s Kylian Mbappe in the summer.
Moreover, the Sport report adds that Real have no intention of selling Vinicius, and instead want to extend his current deal to 2029.

Meanwhile, last year Vinicius said he would like to stay at Real for the rest of his career or return to Brazilian outfit Flamengo
"I think I could stay here my whole career, but the club of my life is Flamengo," the forward said in an interview with France Football and L'Equipe last year. "I promised my father I would go back one day. I have to keep this promise.
"I love life here in general, and it's going well for my family too. When my loved ones walk around, they are recognised and they wish us nothing but happiness.
"Little by little, I discovered this new life, new emotions, a fervour... Madrid is unique. Everyone around the world tells me about this club. And apart from that, I like it. I'm quite a homebody but we do a lot of activities."
