Liverpool fans were left stunned by a penalty decision which did not go in their favour in the home clash with Fulham on Saturday.
The league leaders were aggrieved early on in the contest after Issa Diop and Andreas Pereira produced horrific challenges on both Andy Robertson and Ryan Gravenberch.
Pereira fired Marco Silva's side into a lead with an acrobatic finish at the far post and not long after Robertson was sent off for bringing down Harry WIlson when he capitalised on a poor touch from the Scotland captain.
10-man Liverpool levelled matters courtesy of in-form Cody Gakpo straight after half-time but the Reds felt they should have had a penalty minutes later.

As Gakpo cut in from the left, Joe Gomez made a darting underlapping run and was completely taken out by Kenny Tete. The former Lyon right-back looked to be attempting to block Gakpo's strike but ended up wiping out Gomez in a brutal collision.
He ended up having to be substituted and replaced by Timothy Castagne as a result of the clash but Liverpool supporters were furious that a spot-kick wasn't awarded by VAR after the referee waved away initial appeals.
One said: "I expect those on VAR to be held accountable for the absolute shambles Liverpool are currently enduring. Fulham should be down to ten and had conceded a penalty."

Another added: "Is VAR on strike today????That looked a Liverpool penalty."
A third blasted: "This referee is a complete disgrace. Another Liverpool player taken out!!! How is that not a penalty."
A fourth commented: "Stonewall penalty but it’s Liverpool."
A final person questioned the call, writing: How's that not a penalty..it's a rugby challenge."

The penalty incident became even more important as 15 minutes from time substitute Rodrigo Munoz put Fulham in the lead again after a second fine assist from left-back Antonee Robinson.
Liverpool looked like they were heading for a first defeat since the loss to Nottingham Forest but the returning Diogo Jota grabbed a late equaliser for Arne Slot's men.
