New footage of Joe Gomez grabbing Ben Chilwell after Conor Bradley incident shows exactly what happened

Conor Bradley and Ben Chilwell clashed during Sunday's Carabao Cup final.

Fan footage of Joe Gomez grabbing Ben Chilwell after the Chelsea full-back clashed with Conor Bradley during Sunday's Carabao Cup final has emerged.

Liverpool clinched a record-extending 10th title in the competition thanks to a dramatic late winner from captain Virgil van Dijk, who scored deep into extra-time.

There were plenty of talking points throughout at Wembley, including a heated incident towards the end of the first-half.

As you can see from the footage below, a frustrated Ben Chilwell pushed his opponent after Bradley tackled him to the ground with a rugby-style challenge.

Bradley would later appear to mock the Chelsea captain in an Instagram post.

A day later and the aftermath of Chilwell and Bradley's clash emerged online, with fan footage showing how Liverpool defender Joe Gomez reacted to Sunday's incident.

Gomez can be seen grabbing his fellow England international's shirt before having a word with Chilwell, who tried to push Gomez in response.

The video also shows an altercation between Nicolas Jackson, Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Cakpo. In fact, Ibrahima Konate had to separate the trio as tempers flared.

You can see the footage in full below:

Speaking to Sky Sports after the full-time whistle, Bradley was overcome with emotion.

“I don’t think I can actually put it into words," he said. "It’s an incredible feeling and obviously I’ve supported this club since I was about five years old so to now win a trophy with them at Wembley, it’s special and I’m just buzzing.

“Thankfully I wasn’t on at the end because I don’t know if I could have kept my composure.

"The boys did brilliant and especially the young ones that came on, they showed real heart and they always wanted the ball and they always wanted to make something happen. So, full credit to the boys.”
