Liverpool defender Joe Gomez was pressed on whether the incredible scenes at Wembley in Liverpool's Carabao Cup victory could persuade Jurgen Klopp to stay at Liverpool.
Klopp has been hailed for his trust in youth as an inexperienced Liverpool team came away with the trophy as Virgil Van Dijk's extra-time header was enough to see off a nervy Chelsea side.
Whilst Chelsea's average age both at the start and end of the game, it was the huge transfer fees Todd Boehly has spent on his young talent that caused Gary Neville to brand the game "Klopp's kids vs the blue billion-pound bottlejobs," on Sky Sports.
Klopp considered the victory over Chelsea as the "most special" silverware he had won.

Despite facing an injury crisis, which escalated when Ryan Gravenberch was carried off after 30 minutes, the team persevered and won the match with four academy players on the pitch.
Following the match, Joe Gomez was quizzed on whether special moments like this could make Klopp consider staying at Liverpool beyond the end of the season.
"Nah, definitely not,” Said the cup final substitute.
“Understanding how long he’s been here, I think he knows he has done everything he can. He has won it all. Everyone respects his decision and we understand it.

“He is one of the wisest men we know and when he says he’s ready, he’s ready. It is what it is, we can’t dwell on that, we just have to do him justice," Gomez continued.
The 26-year-old also revealed what it is like playing for such a club legend knowing this will be his last chance to win each competition Liverpool compete in.
“Everyone knows about the importance and we get that aura anyway in team meetings at the minute," The defender emphasised.

“We know it’s that last hurrah and we just want to give our all for him. We always did but now when the finishing line is in sight it adds that extra emphasis."
Liverpool sit top of the Premier League and are one of the strong favourites for both the Europa League and FA Cup, so the thought of an iconic farewell quadruple could be on the cards.
“We don’t want to get ahead of ourselves but we are in every competition and we are going to try to win every game. That’s the target and we will go again,” Gomez explained.
