A new report has revealed a key concern Arne Slot may have over one of Jurgen Klopp's final signings as Liverpool manager.
The former Feyenoord boss has enjoyed a promising start to life at Anfield so far. Since his arrival, Slot has seen his side win all but one game, a shock home defeat against Nottingham Forest.
The impressive string of results has lifted Liverpool to the top of the Premier League despite Arsenal and Manchester City being many people’s favourites to win the league.

On Wednesday evening, Slot will turn his attention to the Champions League visit of Bologna, who Liverpool face in what will be the Dutchman’s first European game at Anfield since arriving on Merseyside.
Despite his almost perfect record, there is one player many fans think could improve.
Journalist James Pearce has claimed midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai could up his game, saying: “Slot spoke recently about how he felt that Szoboszlai needed to contribute more in the final third, I think quite rightly, made the point that for an attacking midfielder, what was it, three Premier League goals last season?”

“That really isn’t sufficient when you’re playing for a team like Liverpool, who dominate possession and create so much,” when speaking on the Walk On podcast.
The former RB Leipzig man joined Liverpool during the summer of 2023 and showed some early signs of promise with several glittering performances. But towards the end of last season, his performances were inconsistent, which saw him criticised by fans and media.
The Hungarian has played in a more advanced ‘number 10’ role in recent weeks in Slot's new system, even scoring the third goal in a 3-1 victory away at AC Milan in the San Siro on matchday one in the Champions League.

His contributions in the Premier League have been less impressive, however, with the midfielder failing to score and providing just one assist in six league appearances so far this term.
The 23-year-old is likely to start the Reds’ European clash against Bologna at Anfield on Wednesday evening, with fellow attacker Federico Chiesa set to miss out after appearing to miss an open training session on Tuesday. First-choice left-back Andrew Robertson is set to return, despite concerns surrounding his fitness after he limped off against Wolves. Darwin Nunez may also feature against the Italians after recovering from a suspected illness.
