Arne Slot's first priority upon taking the job at Liverpool is said to be relating to a bumper contract for a surprise star.
The Dutchman is replacing Jurgen Klopp after he ended his nine-year stint with the Reds, officially taking charge on 1 June and penning a three-year deal.
It's set to a summer of change at Anfield as they enter a new era under Slot.

Thiago Alcantara and Joel Matip are confirmed departures, while there is talk that Caoimhin Kelleher and Ibrahima Konate could be on the move.
However, a new report claims that Liverpool are looking to tie down one of their players to a huge new deal.
Conor Bradley only penned a new contract in December, committing himself to the club until 2027.

A month later and the 20-year-old benefited from an injury to Trent Alexander-Arnold, receiving an extended run in the side at right-back and churning in some impressive displays.
He produced a notable Man of the Match display against Chelsea, scoring and registering two assists.
In total Bradley played 23 times in all competitions and the Northern Ireland international is so highly thought of at Anfield that the club are preparing another new contract, as per TEAMtalk.
It's seen as a priority move from Slot to reward Bradley, who is on £10,000-per-week but remains one of the club's lowest-paid players.

It will be quite the pay increase for Bradley, who could play an even more important role next term if Trent Alexander-Arnold makes a permanent switch to midfield.
Liverpool legend Jan Molby is excited to see how Slot incorporates both Bradley and Alexander-Arnold in his plans next season.
On Anfield Index's 'Molby on the Spot' podcast, the Dane said: "I can’t wait to see what Arne Slot does with Bradley and Trent Alexander-Arnold. How do you solve that one?

"Both of them are too good not to play, but they can't both play right-back. So that's another thing I can't to see how he solves that."
