Jurgen Klopp made a demand to Liverpool fans after their win over Southampton in the FA Cup.
On the back of their Carabao Cup triumph last Sunday, the Reds switched their focus to the FA Cup as they welcomed Championship side Southampton to Anfield on Wednesday night.
After weathering an early storm from the Saints, Liverpool took the lead through 18-year-old Lewis Koumas, son of former Reds player Jason, just before the interval.

In the second half, another youngster, this time in the shape of Jayden Danns, scored a brace to seal a 3-0 win for the hosts.
Speaking after the match, Reds boss Klopp made a plea to the Liverpool fans over constant shouts of ‘shoot’ whenever Joe Gomez has the ball at his feet.
At the age of 26, after 233 appearances in his career, Gomez is yet to find the back of the net.

As a result, fans have often urged Gomez to take a shot whenever he has the ball.
Reacting to this, Klopp said: “Conor not there, Trent obviously not there, so Joey, come on. Now he plays the six, aye aye aye. The way he played is absolutely crazy. Can I ask the people, as funny as it is... shoot. Leave the boy alone, one day he will shoot, he will find the moment himself.
“If he shoots from 40 yards just because the people are calling then I will really get a bit angry but what a boy, what a game. Absolutely exceptional.”
After clinching the Carabao Cup on Sunday, Gomez spoke about the prospect of Klopp making a U-turn on his decision to leave the club at the end of the current campaign.

He said: “Nah, definitely not. Understanding how long he’s been here, I think he knows he has done everything he can. He has won it all. Everyone respects his decision and we understand it.
“He is one of the wisest men we know and when he says he’s ready, he’s ready. It is what it is, we can’t dwell on that, we just have to do him justice.”
Gomez continued: “Everyone knows about the importance and we get that aura anyway in team meetings at the minute.
“We know it’s that last hurrah and we just want to give our all for him. We always did but now when the finishing line is in sight it adds that extra emphasis. It’s special and hopefully it’s the first of a few we can get this year.”
