Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has hit back at one fan after being called out over his comments about Mohamed Salah.
On Sunday, Salah starred as Liverpool came from 2-1 down to beat Southampton 3-2 to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to eight points.
However, on Monday, it emerged that Salah dropped a major bombshell regarding his future.

The Egyptian said: "We are almost in December and I haven't received any offers yet to stay in the club. I'm probably more out than in."
Reacting to Salah's comments during Sky Sports' Monday Night Football, Carragher slammed the Liverpool forward, saying: "I must say I am very disappointed with Mo Salah. Liverpool have Real Madrid midweek [in the Champions League] and Man City at the weekend. That's the story right now.
"If he keeps putting comments out, his agent puts out cryptic messages, that is selfish. That is thinking about themselves and not the football club."

On social media, one fan was critical of Carragher's comments on Salah, the supporter wrote: "That of course is Carragher who wouldn't even mention Salah in the list of the best PL players of the last 10 years recently. Has a weird little agenda against him. Can't think of a single reason why."
Carragher has since replied to the fan, he said: "Said last night in top 5 players ever to play for LFC. Day before I said he’s in the front 3 of all time PL 11 with Henry & Ronaldo. I picked KDB over him get over it. Stop talking pony Barry."
Earlier in the afternoon, Carragher wrote on his X account: "MO Salah only answered a question, is the new nonsense all his fan boys are spouting!!!

"Wait until you see how many questions Arne Slot gets asked about Salah’s comments, the talk should be about two of Europe’s giants coming up against each other not contracts!"
During the pre-match press conference ahead of Liverpool's Champions League clash against Real Madrid, manager Arne Slot was asked about Carragher's comments.
The Dutchman replied: "I focus a bit more on what else he said. He said he was one of the best five players Liverpool ever had, and I agree with him. I don't think it distracts Mo at all. Maybe it brings the best out of him!"
