Jamie Carragher says he crunched his former Liverpool teammate in training as he weighed in on Harry Maguire.
The Manchester United defender came in for more criticism following his own-goal in England's 3-1 victory over Scotland on Tuesday.
He was jeered by Scotland fans as Gareth Southgate condemned the taunts while Aaron Ramsdale jumped to his international colleague's defence.

Carragher took aim at Andre Onana as he accused the goalkeeper of targeting the defender to endear himself to Man United fans.
He also believes the 30-year-old could do with some 'fire in his belly' as he recalled a training ground clash with Rigobert Song.
According to the Liverpool legend, Song 'laughed' at him following his call-up to the England team.

Carragher reacted by putting in a 'late tackle' on Song as he suggested Maguire needs to 'get furious and strike back'.
In his column for The Telegraph, he wrote: "I have my own experiences. When I was 21 and broke into the Liverpool team, I endured tough moments, scoring two own goals against Manchester United. The knives were out.
"Hearing all the derision - some of it from my own supporters - made me react in the next game away at Hull City. My default response was anger.
"'I don’t give a f**k what anyone thinks anymore,' I thought. I was going to show people they would not walk all over me."

Carragher added: "My confession in my 2008 autobiography that I once put a late tackle in training on a team-mate, Rigobert Song, because he laughed when he heard I had been called up by England grabbed headlines. No one dared try and take the p**s out of me like that again.
"Obviously, I would not condone Maguire doing the same to anyone showing disrespect, but he could do with some more fire in his belly; to get furious and start to strike back. He does not strike me as such a character. That is why he has become easy prey."
