Liverpool fans couldn't believe who former star Fernando Torres had on the back of his shirt in a video of him preparing for his Anfield return.
There are few former players as popular among Liverpool fans than Fernando Torres, such was the impact he had during his spell at Anfield.
After joining the club club from Atletico Madrid in 2007 for a then club record £26.5 million fee, the Spanish striker scored 81 goals in 142 appearances.

Though Torres broke Liverpool hearts when he made a then-British transfer record £50m switch to Chelsea in January 2011, Reds supporters have always fondly remembered him.
Next week, Liverpool fans will have the chance to see their hero in the flesh one more time when Torres returns to Anfield to play for a Liverpool Legends team against Ajax Legends.
Having retired from professional football in 2019, Torres has been getting back into top shape ahead of the match.

Though the striker has developed an extremely muscular physique since hanging up his boots, he's taken to the boxing gym in order to improve his stamina and aerobic fitness.
A video emerged on social media of Torres sparring in the gym, but what caught the attention of fans was the shirt he was wearing.

The 39-year-old was wearing this season's Liverpool home shirt with 'Alexander-Arnold' and the defender's number 66 on the back.
The 25-year-old has been sidelined since last month with a knee injury, but is expected to return to action after the upcoming international break.
Liverpool supporters were delighted with their hero's sartorial choice.
"Imagine being Trent seeing this video, that would make my day," one fan wrote on X, while another said: "Trent is his idol."

Some fans wished they could have seen Torres and Alexander-Arnold playing together on the same pitch.
"If they played in the same era, the amount of Trent to Torres assists would be insane."
Though Torres won the Champions League and the FA Cup in the 2011-12 season as well as the Europa League in the following campaign, Liverpool holds a place in his heart that the London side simply doesn't.

"Chelsea never loved him like we did," another fan commented.
After returning to Atletico Madrid before ending his playing career at Japanese side Sagan Tosu, Torres is now the coach of Atleti's Under-19 team.
