Liverpool fans are furious following the emergence of a new report surrounding their apparent pursuit of Juventus winger Federico Chiesa.
The Reds are yet to seal a permanent signing this summer, but are closing in on the transfer of Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool will pay €35 million to sign the goalkeeper, who will spend the rest of the season on loan at his current club.

BBC Sport now claim that the Reds are targeting a surprise move for Chiesa, who is said to have been deemed as surplus to requirements by Juventus.
The 26-year-old battled back from a cruciate ligament injury suffered in January 2022, although has had a series of minor injury issues since then, missing 11 games for club and country last season.
However, he managed to score 10 goals in all competitions - his highest tally since the 2020/21 season.

Liverpool fans, though, have been left concerned by a new report that has emerged.
According to Gianluca DiMarzio, Chiesa is willing to wait another day to see if Barcelona can sign him, given their financial issues and difficulty in registering players.
Should that deal not be able to advance, it is claimed, the Italy international will look at 'other solutions', including Liverpool.

Fearing a repeat of the saga involving Martin Zubimendi - who turned down a move to Liverpool in order to stay at Real Sociedad - Reds fans have argued that they don't want Chiesa to sign if Anfield isn't his number one destination.
One wrote: "So he is going to string us along for a few days to see if Barcelona can raise the money first. Sound that."
A second complained: "Bro why are all these players so hell bent on going to Barcelona. They all end up regretting it."
A third said: "And there goes my interest in him."

A fourth wrote: "Zubimendi 2.0 just embarrassing."
And a fifth added: "If we are not first choice then no thanks."
