Arne Slot broke a Jurgen Klopp record before a ball was even kicked in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 clash against Paris Saint Germain.
After earning a 13-point lead at the top of the Premier League, Liverpool switched their attention to the Champions League on Wednesday night as they took on French giants PSG at the Parc des Princes.
Dutchman Slot, who replaced Klopp in the summer, has enjoyed a stellar start to life at Anfield but has tough months ahead as the season begins to reach its climax.
Ahead of the match in Paris, it was claimed that Slot has already done something Klopp never did during his time in charge of the Reds.

After naming his starting XI, it was reported that Slot has named the same line-up for a sixth time, something Klopp never did.
Opta Joe Football Data Editor Michael Reid wrote on social media: "This is the 6th time Arne Slot has named this exact starting XI with LFC.
"That's more than Jürgen Klopp fielded any exact starting XI in all of his 491 games in charge of the club (5 times his most with a particular XI)."
For those interested, the starting XI that Klopp named the most was - Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, van Dijk, Robertson, Keïta, Wijnaldum, Milner, Salah, Firmino, Mané.

Meanwhile, Slot's most popular line-up is - Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson, Gravenberch, Mac Allister Szoboszlai, Salah, Jota, Diaz.

Speaking ahead of the match, Slot said: "They do things really well in every aspect of the game, similar to us, but the main threat as always is that front three. They don't only have quality but they are lightning fast, Dembele and Barcola change direction so quickly.
"You can compare them to the wingers of Man City, Doku and Savinho, and that was a challenge for us, so I'm interested to see how things go tonight."

He added: "It is a different game to Newcastle and even Man City. This team if they do the same as they have done in the last games, pressing one v one all over the pitch, they are all over you. We need to manage that in the right way and understand when to play and when to bring our forwards in good situations."
