Liverpool have been handed a massive boost in their pursuit of Alexander Isak as Newcastle United have reportedly singled out their ideal replacement.
As Premier League clubs head into their final games of the season, some of them have already began making early moves ahead of the transfer window opening in June.
Perhaps the biggest story in the buildup to the transfer window will be surrounding Newcastle United star Isak, who has been linked with several clubs including Liverpool who hope to replace Darwin Nunez.

And now, the Merseyside club have been handed a massive boost in their pursuit of the Swedish striker, as Newcastle have reportedly started preparing for life without Isak by scouting their perfect replacement.
With Isak scoring 19 goals across 25 Premier League appearances for Newcastle this season, Eddie Howe would need to bring in a top talent if he hopes to replicate the Swede's success should he be sold.
But a report from Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport has claimed that the Geordie boss believes that he may have found his man, as Newcastle are believed to have a growing interest in Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.

Despite performing well for the Serie A giants this season, it has been reported that Vlahovic’s team and Juventus have agreed that it is for the best if the Serbian leaves the club this summer.
Across 35 appearances in all competitions this season, the 25-year-old has scored 14 goals and assisted another three.

Juventus had hoped that they could convince Vlahovic to stay at the club but now believe that agreeing a new deal would not be sustainable for them financially as Vlahovic will not budge on his wage demands.

Vlahovic joined Juventus from fellow Serie A side Fiorentina for a massive £66million fee, but they would reportedly be willing to accept a bid of around €45million (£37.5m) for the young striker this summer.
But Newcastle Unite aren't the only club that are reportedly considering making a move for Vlahovic, as both Arsenal and Manchester United are also believed to be monitoring his current situation.
