Liverpool are set to be without Andy Robertson for a while after he suffered a shoulder injury during the international break.
Robertson was forced off when Scotland took on Spain with a suspected dislocated shoulder after being landed on by Spanish goalkeeper Unai Simon.
Speaking ahead of Liverpool’s Merseyside Derby against Everton this weekend, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp confirmed Robertson will require surgery and will be out for a while.
Ahead of the match this weekend, we have decided to look at three ways Liverpool could line up without Robertson.

1. Kostas Tsimikas
Perhaps the most expected change, Greek left-back Tsimikas is likely to start this weekend as a direct replacement for Robertson.
The 27-year-old enjoyed a decent international after providing an assist for Greece against Ireland.
Line up - Alisson; Alexander Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Tsimikas; Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Gravenberch; Salah, Nunez, Diaz.

2. Back Three
It is rare that Klopp will change his whole formation but the absence of Robertson could force him to experiment.
In this formation, Alexander-Arnold and Tsimikas will operate as wing-backs whilst Ibrahima Konate comes in to give more protection.
Line up - Alisson; Matip, Konate, Van Dijk; Alexander-Arnold, Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Tsimikas; Salah, Nunez, Diaz.

3. Curtis Jones at left-back
Although banned for Everton, Jones could be deployed as a left-back when he returns from suspension.
Jones was deployed at right-back when Liverpool took on Leicester City in the Carabao Cup last month and could move the Englishman to the other side of the defence.
Jones’s move to full-back could allow summer signing Ryan Gravenberch to start in midfield.
