Liverpool star Darwin Nunez could be an injury doubt after suffering a muscular problem during the international break.
So far this season, Nunez has shown a lot more promise than last season after he scored two fine late goals to seal a dramatic 2-1 win over Newcastle United last month.
During the international break, Nunez played a big part in Uruguay’s 3-1 win over Chile after he provided two assists.

However, the Liverpool striker was taken off at halftime during Uruguay’s 2-1 defeat by Ecuador on Tuesday night.
Speaking after the match, Uruguay boss Marcelo Bielsa has worried Liverpool fans by stating that Nunez could have an injury.
He said: “Darwin came into the game with some muscular difficulties and that limited him in his actions.

“I thought it was necessary to sub him because he over worked trying to press and attack in the last game.”
After the Newcastle match, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp spoke about Nunez, he said: “He was obviously fired up from not playing, not starting, then put all the energy in these two shots.
“We could have scored before, we had really good chances, really good football moments – like Diogo and Mo, really good. It was a super mature performance and two top-class goals.”

Klopp added: “Everything is OK. Really, I understand the question. It’s clear he’s not happy – how can a player be happy when he’s not starting?
“The thing is it’s early in the season, we need to find stability, we need to find a formation, we need to get results. And then we’ll play every three days anyway and everybody will play, there’s no doubt about that.”
Liverpool are back in action this weekend as they take on Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Aside from Nunez, Liverpool will be hoping other South American players such as Alisson, Alexis Mac Allister and Luis Diaz will be fit enough to play after their long journey back to England.
