Lionel Messi reportedly wants Inter Miami to sign another one of his former Barcelona teammates.
On the back of the 22/23 season, it was confirmed that Messi would leave French giants Paris Saint Germain for MLS outfit Inter Miami.
Since the Argentine legend arrived in Miami, the popularity of the MLS and football in America has grown massively.

After sealing the deal for Messi, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner was joined by former Barcelona teammates Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.
Now, it has been reported that Messi would like another former teammate to join him in Miami.
According to Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona captain Sergi Roberto is considering a move to the MLS when his current deal expires at the end of the 23/24 campaign.

The report claimed that Roberto has been speaking to Messi, Busquets and Albia about life in the MLS, with all three giving positive reviews about their experiences so far.
Apart from the Inter Miami trio, Roberto is believed to have also reached out to the likes of Oriol Rosell, Illie Sanchez and Andreu Fontas.
The 31-year-old has previously expressed his love for New York and often visits the city with his wife, Coral Simanovich.

Despite being named club captain after the departure of Busquets, Roberto has seen his opportunities limited by Barcelona boss Xavi.
The Spaniard has only managed to make two starts, having played just 224 minutes in the club’s first 11 matches.
So far, Roberto has made 355 appearances for the Catalan club having made his debut back in 2010.
