The star forward followed up that performance with a two-goal haul against Atlanta United, where he also provided an assist in his side's 4-0 victory.
Fans are flocking to the DRV PNK Stadium to witness greatness, with supporters leaving in their droves as soon as he left the field last Wednesday.
People are also following Messi around Miami, with a video showing a huge crowd gathered outside a local Adidas store.

The seven-time Ballon d'Or winner enjoyed himself last night as he went out with Inter Miami owner David Beckham and Sergio Busquets, who also joined the MLS side this summer.
Beckham recently spoke about the transfer to bring Messi to Inter Miami, revealing his feelings after striking a deal with the Argentine international.

"I never thought I would have the same feeling as an owner as I had when I was a player," he told The Athletic.
"When I got the phone call, I had the feeling I had when I walked out at Old Trafford or Wembley. I was like, 'We’ve just beaten all competition to sign the greatest player to ever play our game'."
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star also disclosed how he managed to secure Messi after the World Cup winner announced he was leaving PSG.
"It all came from a conversation over a glass of wine at dinner," he said.
