Getafe and La Liga will reportedly break an unwritten law as Jude Bellingham is investigated for an alleged offensive remark made towards Mason Greenwood.
Bellingham and Greenwood lined up against each other earlier in the month as Getafe took on Real Madrid in La Liga.
A brace from striker Joselu was enough to seal a 2-0 win for Madrid as they regained top spot in the league table.

Now, it has been reported that Getafe and La Liga have broken an unwritten rule.
According to Spanish news outlet Marca, Getafe’s decision to report the incident breaks the unwritten law between clubs.
It has been claimed that normally, anything not noted by the referee will be ignored by senior officials.
However, Getafe made an exception on this occasion and La Liga reportedly agreed to it.

The report claimed that the Spanish Federation was left surprised by the move as it lacked precedence and opened a path that had not been explored by other teams.
According to COPE, Bellingham could be banned for up to four games as per the regulations if he is found guilty.
Getafe manager Jose Bordalas has defended Greenwood, he said at the start of the month: “I know the same thing that you know. It’s not up to me, it’s the club, La Liga and the Federation that have to make an assessment about it.

“The only thing that I can say is that I ask for respect from Mason Greenwood because he is a great guy.”
