Jose Mourinho could face an immediate transfer battle once he takes charge of Fenerbahce, according to reports.
The Portuguese manager has agreed a two-year deal to take charge of the Turkish giants, according to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
He is set to replace former boss Ismail Kartal, who left the club after they finished second in the Turkish Super Lig behind Galatasaray.

Mourinho will have strong foundations in which to build from. Fenerbahce recorded the second-highest points total in the history of Turkey's top flight, scoring 99 points amid just one defeat all season - but unfortunately for them, Galatasaray scored 102 points and beat them to the title.
The Portuguese boss has been out of work since being sacked by Roma in January, despite links with the vacant roles at Chelsea and Liverpool.
Upon his anticipated arrival at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium, Mourinho will no doubt get straight to work in the transfer market.

But one key decision could involve one of his own players.
According to Turkish outlet Milliyet (via Sport Witness), Arsenal have agreed personal terms to sign full-back Ferdi Kadioglu this summer.
Mikel Arteta's side are said to be on the lookout for a new full-back this summer to provide further competition, and the Turkey international seemingly fits the bill. A deal surrounding a fee is yet to be agreed on, however.
The versatile defender, who can also play further up the pitch, made 37 appearances for Fenerbahce during the 2023/24 season, assisting four goals and scoring once.

It is claimed that Kadioglu, who is said to be available for upwards of €20 million, would have an interest in moving to the Premier League if the opportunity arises.
The two clubs have done business with one another in recent years, with midfielder Mesut Ozil signing for the Turkish side on a free transfer from Arsenal in January 2021.
