Ajax have made a big decision over Jordan Henderson after playing just four games for his new side.
Henderson joined Ajax on a two-and-a-half-year deal last month following the termination of his contract with Saudi Pro League side Al Ettifaq.
He had difficulty settling in the Middle East after linking up with Steven Gerrard's side.

He offered himself to Bundesliga duo Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich before penning a contract with the Dutch giants.
Henderson, however, has yet to win a game for Ajax since moving to the club.
He made his debut in their 1-1 draw with PSV Eindhoven at the start of the month.

The England international then tasted defeat against Heerenveen and featured in their 2-2 draw with Bodo Glimt in the Europa Conference League.
Ahead of their league clash against NEC Nijmegen, Henderson has been made captain in what is just his fourth game for Ajax.
John van 't Schip made the decision to hand the former Liverpool midfielder the captain's armband due to the injuries to their captain and vice-captain.
The Ajax boss is without captain Steven Bergwijn and vice-captain Steven Berghuis.

Prior to the match, Henderson led the team out for the warm-up.
The 33-year-old will be hoping to inspire Ajax to victory as they look to secure European qualification this season.
Before their fixture against NEC, Ajax recorded 35 league points from 21 matches, with AZ Alkmaar, Twente, Feyenoord and PSV ahead of them in the table.

Speaking to ESPN after his debut against PSV, Henderson said: "It was a very good game. The atmosphere was incredible.
"Obviously it was a special day for me and my family. To represent this football club for the first time, that was special. And to play in this stadium was really special."
