Jesse Lingard has made a radical move to save his career, having still not found a club since leaving Nottingham Forest in the summer.
The 31-year-old left Forest at the conclusion of a one-year deal widely reported to have been worth £200,000-a-week.
But six months on from leaving the Premier League outfit, the former England international has reportedly grown frustrated over the lack of progress.

Sky Sports News, citing a source close to the player, have claimed that Lingard has now severed ties with his agent as a result.
“Lingard just wants to play football and has subsequently terminated all ties with his former agents,” the source claimed.
Lingard is said to have terminated a “complex long-term agreement” with his representatives, having grown frustrated that “several contract offers and enquiries since his departure from Nottingham Forest have failed to develop”.
It was claimed that “money is not the driving force” for Lingard when searching for a new club.
Lingard has been keeping his fitness up in Dubai, having failed to land a contract after spells training with West Ham and the Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Ettifaq.

The former Manchester United attacker had a productive half-season at West Ham back in 2021, netting nine goals in 16 appearances and earning a recall to the England squad.
However, the Hammers ruled out a move for Lingard despite an injury crisis in attack amid a concern regarding how long the 31-year-old had gone without playing.
Lingard was berated by United legend Paul Scholes earlier this week, after posting several pictures of himself working out in the gym.
Scholes said in the comments: “Are you just gonna f*** about in the gym or are you gonna actually play football?”

He reacted to a further post of Lingard training on a pitch, adding: “There we go Jess….a ball”.
