Harry Kane once explained why he doesn’t like sitting next to Eric Dier.
It has been widely reported that Dier is close to securing a move to Bayern Munich, with an agreement said to be in place over his personal terms.
While Tottenham maintain there has been no direct contact between them and Bayern, the Guardian claim the wheels are turning on a deal for the centre-half, who is out of favour under manager Ange Postecoglou and out of contract in the summer.

The publication has reported that Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel admires Dier’s versatility and believes he could play in defensive midfield as well as centre-back.
Should Dier secure the move to Bavaria he would be reunited with his former Spurs colleague and friend Kane, who moved to Bayern in the summer.
While they are set to rekindle their close bond, it’s unlikely we’ll catch any snaps of the pair travelling to and from matches.
That’s because Kane previously labelled Dier as the player he least enjoyed sitting alongside on long-haul flights and lengthy coach journeys.
When asked who he least liked sitting next to back in November, Kane told ESPN: “I'm going to put Eric Dier in there.

“Eric Dier just sleeps everywhere - on the coach, on the plane, so I'll be getting no conversation from him. He'll probably sleep the whole 12 hours, or whatever the flight is.”
Postecoglou was furious at a suggestion that Dier’s absence from Spurs’ 1-0 FA Cup win over Burnley was linked to the interest from Bayern.
Postecoglou said: “Separate issue but don’t question my integrity. When I say he’s injured, he’s injured. He didn’t train yesterday. I can get Vision [Spurs’ training footage] in for you, you can ask him. It’s got nothing to do with anything else.
“When you ask me whether he’s injured, he’s injured. I didn’t make that up. If he wasn’t injured I’d say he wasn’t selected. It’s easy for me to say.

“He’s injured and in terms of anything else that’s happening, it’s not on my radar. If there is something I’m sure I’ll hear of it but fair to say in the last 24 hours we’ve been focusing on the game and the guys that are available.”
