Julian Nagelsmann has left out a big name in his latest Germany squad.
The first international break of the season is fast approaching with the UEFA Nations League set to take centre stage.
Ahead of the fixtures, Germany boss Naglesmann has revealed his playing squad.
The likes of Ilkay Gündogan, Manuel Neuer, Toni Kroos and Thomas Muller announced their retirements from international football after Euro 2024.

However, Real Madrid star Antonio Rudiger has been surprisingly left out by Germany manager Nagelsmann.
As reported by The Athletic, Rudiger has been omitted after agreeing with Naglesmann to take a break.
Journalist Mario Cotegana wrote: “Rüdiger and Nagelsmann decided together that the centre-back will be rested during the next international break due to the player's short holiday
“The plan is for Rüdiger to return to the national team in October.”

Goalkeepers - Oliver Baumann, Alexander Nuble, Marc Andre ter Stegen.
Defenders - Waldemar Anton, Benjamin Henrichs, Joshua Kimmich, Robin Koch, Maximilian Mittelstadt, David Raum, Jonathan Tah.
Midfielders - Robert Andrich, Emre Can, Chris Fuhrich, Pascal Gross, Jamal Musiala, Aleksandar Pavlovic, Angelo Stiller, Florian Wirtz.

Forwards - Maximilian Beier, Niclas Fullkrug, Kai Havertz, Deniz Undav.
Speaking about his selection, Nagelsmann said: “In general, we were very satisfied with how each player fulfilled his role at the European Championships.
“That’s why we now want to give the European Championship squad the chance again in the first games after the tournament.”

He added: “The only newcomer is Angelo Stiller, who performed very well in Stuttgart last season and again this season. In midfield, we have to replace two players, Ilkay Gündogan and Toni Kroos, who have retired. Overall, that’s enough changes in the national team for the moment.”
Germany are set to take on Hungary and the Netherlands on September 7 and 10.
