Gary Neville reveals savage message Noel Gallagher wrote on his guitar after he asked Oasis star to sign it

Gary Neville posted the message on the back of the Oasis reunion announcement.

Gary Neville has posted the message Noel Gallagher wrote on his guitar after he asked the Oasis star to sign it.

On Tuesday morning, it was confirmed that iconic rock band Oasis will hold a reunion tour in 2025.

The band wrote on social media: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

After the announcement, former England and Manchester United star Neville took to social media and revealed the savage message Gallagher left on his guitar.

Neville wrote on Instagram: “20 years old this thing and it feels like the day to bring it out again! Manchesters second most famous brother’s make a comeback!”

The picture showed the message, which read: “Dear Gary. How many caps have you got for England!! How many have you deserved?? I'll tell you... F****** NONE!! Lots of love, Noel Gallagher x M.C.F.C.”

Back in 2013, Neville admitted he was a huge fan of Oasis, he told Digital Spy: “I was a big Oasis fan.

“I started learning the guitar for a few years and just sent it (to) him one day. I got it back with that! Shouldn't have been surprised, really!”

During a recent episode of The Overlap, Neville revealed which club he would play for if he had left United during his career.

He said: “I admire the lads that left in a way and how they speak different languages and played in different leagues. But I never wanted to leave. I’m so proud to say I played for Manchester United and that’s it. Full stop.

“I remember when I was 30 I decided I would retire if United didn’t offer me a new contract. Leaving United at that age never seemed to go well.”

Neville added: “I’m going to say Arsenal. Arsenal were the club that I genuinely had massive respect for. When I went to Highbury and you used to walk in that old entrance with the marble hall, I used to think it’s a club of proper tradition.

“I used to love the blazers that they used to wear and there is a resemblance in alignment for what United were at that time with the blazers and tradition.”
