Bruno Fernandes has yet to work out the 'clever' captaincy tactic at Manchester United, according to Gary Neville.
Fernandes was named new club captain of Man United before the 2023/24 seasons as he took over from Harry Maguire.
But his captaincy has come under question as Roy Keane believes he should be stripped of the armband following Man United's 3-0 defeat against Manchester City.

He entered the fray as a substitute in his side's Carabao Cup defeat to Newcastle but could be seen handing out instructions from the touchline in the first-half.
The Portuguese donned the captain's armband when he was brought on, with Neville believing Ten Hag wouldn't relieve the star midfielder of his skipper duties.
But the former Man United captain believes the 29-year-old has failed to work out the 'clever' captaincy tact that took him years to learn.

He claimed that a captain almost has to befriend the referee otherwise they won't respond during a game.
"A captain has to be clever with the referee. It took me a long time to work out that the referee isn't going to respond if you're actually having a go at them all the time," he said Webby & O'Neil.
"They know what to expect now from Bruno. He's literally talking, chatting and moaning at the referee every 10 seconds in the game it feels like.
"It's not helping Bruno, it's not helping the team and it's not helping the performance on the pitch of the referee."
