One nation boasts three players in the best XI from the group stages.

Euro 2024's best XI from the group stage round includes THREE players from the same nation.

16 teams have booked their spot in the next round of the tournament, including Georgia who beat Portugal 2-0 in a famous win on Wednesday.

The tournament route was confirmed following last night's results as fans were left shocked at who could make the semi-finals.

And the Euro 2024 winners' odds have dramatically changed following the conclusion of the group stages.

With the Euro 2024 reaching the knockout stage, Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo have named their best XI from the group stages.

It includes not one but THREE Spanish players as Marc Cucurella, Fabian Ruiz and Lamine Yamal are included following their showings in Group B.

Cucurella and Ruiz shone in Spain's opening two games before being rested for their final group stage clash against Albania.

The Chelsea defender helped his national team keep two clean sheets while the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder scored a superb goal in his side's 3-0 win over Croatia.

As for Yamal, he's continued to enhance his budding reputation following his outings in Germany. He provided a brilliant assist in Spain's Euros opener.

Georgia are the next best-represented team as they boast two of their stars of the tournament.

Goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, who performed a string of stunning saves against Portugal, and forward Georges Mikautadze, who is the leading scorer at Euro 2024, also make the best XI from the group stages.

Italy defender Riccardo Calafiori, who is attracting interest from Liverpool, and Tottenham's Radu Dragusin sit alongside Cucurella to complete a three-man defence.

The midfield consists of Slovakia's Stanislav Lobotka and Premier League legend N'Golo Kante, not to mention Germany's Jamal Musiala and Austria's Marcel Sabitzer, who grabbed the winner against the Netherlands.
