Eric Dier has stunned fans with a completely new accent upon being unveiled by Bayern Munich.
The England international has signed for the Bavarian giants on an initial loan until the end of the season, with the option of a further year.
Dier had spent the last nine and a half years at Tottenham, having signed from Sporting Lisbon in 2014. He ultimately made 365 appearances for the north Londoners, scoring 13 goals.

He was a stalwart of the Mauricio Pochettino era, most regularly in midfield.
However, this term he had featured in just four games under Ange Postecoglou.
Upon being unveiled by Bayern, the club released a short clip with Dier in Bayern colours speaking about his friendship with Harry Kane.

Dier said: “I spoke to Harry [Kane] yesterday. We just spoke about what I was going to do today. If I was going to trade or not and when I was going to see him.
“I think I’ll see him later in the training ground."
But fans were quick to remark on Dier’s newly adopted pan-European accent.
On TikTok, one person said in response to the clip: “No we need to start investigating this accent switch during interviews. Joey Barton, [Jadon] Sancho now Dier.”

Another said: “Accent works fast.”
A third explained: “Native English speakers are quite hard to understand for Europeans - it’s basically dumbing down the accent which is just a decent thing to do.”
When speaking about the transfer, Dier added: "This move is a dream come true for me, because as a child you want to play for a club like Bayern one day. Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world and has an incredible history.

"I want to help the team with my versatility in defence. I'm really looking forward to my new teammates and the fans at the Allianz Arena, which in my eyes is one of the best stadiums in the world."
