An uncapped player reportedly targetted by Manchester United is now a shock favourite to be included in the England squad for EURO 2024.
This summer, Gareth Southgate will lead the Three Lions to Germany as they look to go one better than EURO 2020.
England will head into the tournament as one of the favourites to go all the way after they were beaten by Italy in the final three years ago.

Ahead of the tournament, all eyes will be on which players Southgate picks for his squad.
According to Sky Bet, Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite is one of the favourite defenders to be selected with odds of 2/7.
The 21-year-old is priced just below the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Kyle Walker, Harry Maguire, John Stones and Kieran Trippier.

Branthwaite has impressed at the heart of the Everton defence and was also included in the England squad for March’s international break.
Due to his impressive displays this season, the defender has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park.
As reported by The Sun, United are the current favourites to sign Branthwaite.

Everton value Branthwaite at around £80 million but it has been claimed that United could seal a cut-price deal before the season finishes due to the Toffee’s financial problems.
Speaking after scoring a goal to help Everton beat Liverpool 2-0 last week, Branthwaite said: “It’s a brilliant feeling, probably the best moment of my Everton career. We were the underdogs and it was a massive result for us as a team and the fans. We had that setback at Chelsea and I think it shows our mentality to come back and win the next few games.
“There’s no better feeling than scoring a goal, especially in a Merseyside derby. I’m buzzing with that. I was watching it go over the line slowly and saw Dom slide in… but yeah, it’s a good feeling and buzzing to get the win.”
