Four more England players at risk of Euro 2024 ban as 'likely' Jude Bellingham decision revealed

Four more England players at risk of Euro 2024 ban as 'likely' Jude Bellingham decision revealed

Four of Jude Bellingham's teammates are at risking of picking up a potential ban at Euro 2024.

FOUR more England players are at risk of facing a potential ban at Euro 2024 amid Jude Bellingham's investigation.

Bellingham is under investigation by UEFA over an X-rated gesture he made towards the Slovakia bench following his goal in their last-16 clash.

During the celebratory scenes of his dramatic equaliser for England, Bellingham gestured towards his crotch.

After the result, the Real Madrid star took to social media to clarify his actions.

UEFA subsequently launched an investigation into his gesture as a 'likely' decision has been revealed.

And Bellingham isn't the only player who is at risk of missing a fixture at the Euros as four of his teammates are on a booking ahead of England resuming their campaign against Switzerland.

If the 21-year-old avoids any UEFA punishment, he'll still need to be on his best behaviour as he picked up a yellow card against Slovakia, meaning another caution would see him receive a one-match suspension.

He's not the only player one booking away from a Euro 2024 ban.

Bellingham's fellow midfielders Conor Gallagher and Kobbie Mainoo are one booking away from a one-match suspension.

Gallagher picked up a yellow card in England's 1-1 draw with Denmark while Mainoo was cautioned against Slovakia.

Against Slovenia, Kieran Trippier and Phil Foden were booked and are also a yellow card away from a ban.

England will be without Marc Guehi for their quarter-final tie against the Swiss as he has picked up two bookings at Euro 2024, resulting in a one-match ban.

But the Crystal Palace defender, who has starred at the back, will be available for the semi-final stage if the Three Lions get past Switzerland.

If Bellingham, Gallagher, Mainoo, Trippier and Foden avoid a yellow card, then they will be on a clean slate for the rest of the tournament as UEFA reset booking tallies after the quarter-final stage.

A player would only miss the final if they're shown a red card in the semis.
