Cristiano Ronaldo’s past comments on the Glazers were spot on as Manchester United are reportedly set to be taken off the market.
The Glazers first put United up for sale back in November 2022, however, despite strong interests from Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe, no deal has been agreed.
On Saturday night, the Daily Mail claimed that the Glazers will take the club off the market as they look to sell again in 2025 for a whopping £10 billion.
It has been reported that the American owners feel the financial benefits will be much greater if they sell in two years’ time.

After the latest development, Ronaldo’s comments on the Glazers have gone viral again.
During what was an explosive tell all interview with Piers Morgan, Ronaldo, who was employed by United at the time said: “The owners of the club, they don't care about the club.
“As you know Manchester United is a marketing club, they will get their money from the marketing, but with the sports they don't really care in my opinion.”
Morgan then asked Ronaldo if he has ever spoken with the owners, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner replied: “Never. They give all the power to the president and sporting director.”

Ronaldo added: “The fans are always right, the fans should know the truth. They should know that we, the players, want the best for the club. I want the best for the club, this is why I came to Manchester United, I love this club.
“But you have some things inside the club which don't help Manchester United reach the top level like Manchester City, Liverpool and even now Arsenal for example, which is complicated. It's difficult.

“It's hard. In my opinion it will be hard for Manchester United to be at the top of the game in the next two-three years.”
