Europa Conference League match between Aberdeen and HJK Helsinki paused due to fans throwing snowballs at the Helsinki goalkeeper.
The Aberdeen away fans made the most of the snowy conditions by pelting there opposition goalkeeper with snowballs, forcing the referee to halt the game with Helsinki leading 2-1 at the time.
Both teams had no chance of qualifying for the knock-out stages, with PAOK and Frankfurt dominating group G of the competition.

The Scottish fans antics may have actually worked, with their team equalising in the 56th minute through Luis Henriques de Barros Lopes.
The away fans didn't appear to do much damage to the Helsinki goalkeeper, but the referee deemed the snowballs as a potential threat to Maenpaa between the sticks.
The Aberdeen players were visibly disappointed with their away supporters, and it was actually the man who grabbed their equaliser, de Barros Lopes, who appeared most angered by the situation.

The game finished a 2-2 draw with both teams having nothing but pride to play for given the context of the group.
Aberdeen may actually be thankful their European campaign is ending early as they continue to struggle domestically despite finishing third last season.
The Scottish side went into the match following a double header against the Scottish Premiership's big guns, losing 6-0 to Celtic but grabbing a valuable point at home to Rangers.
