Mauricio Pochettino has urged Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly to spend more money in January to address Chelsea’s dismal form.
On Sunday Everton eased past Chelsea 2-0 courtesy of goals from Abdoulaye Doucoure and Lewis Dobbin to pull further away from the relegation zone.
While the the west-Londoners claimed a combative win over Brighton with ten men last week, they have now slumped into the Premier League bottom half after defeats to an out-of-form United and Everton in a matter of days.

Pochettino will be searching for a solution to his expensively assembled squad's inconsistent form and has suggested that January spending may provide a change in results.
After the game, Pochettino told BBC’s Match of the Day: "Football is about scoring goals and we were not clinical in front of goal. I'm really, really disappointed. We didn't get the point we deserved. I think we were better but we didn't get what we wanted.
"This was a game to play and to win. It's a problem we need to check. We need to analyse the reality. We need to talk and to try and improve in the next transfer market.”
Pochettino called for more transfer activity despite the club having spent beyond €1billion (£860million) in just three windows since the Todd Boehly/Clearlake Capital takeover in May 2022.

Cole Palmer became the 25th player to join the Blues for a transfer fee since U.S. billionaire Boehly became the co-controlling owner, with the England international signing for £42.5million on deadline day in September.
In fact, since Boehly's arrival they have broken the British transfer record twice, spending £115milliion on Moises Caicedo months after coughing up £106.8million for Enzo Fernandez.
Next up for Chelsea is a home encounter against bottom club Sheffield United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, December 16.
They then take one Newcastle in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday, December 19, again at home.
