Chelsea are set to sell one of their players to Tottenham in January, according to a fresh report.
According to Sky Sports, Tottenham remain interested in Conor Gallagher ahead of the January transfer window with Chelsea willing to consider offers for the England international.
Last summer it had been widely reported that Spurs had the principles of a deal in place for Gallagher only for Chelsea to opt not to sell due to the 23-year-old’s impressive performances around the end of the window and a lack of viable alternatives in the market.

The midfielder has continued to impress, despite Chelsea’s indifferent start to the campaign under Mauricio Pochettino while he has even captained the side on numerous occasions.
However, Gallagher is entering the final 18 months of his contract, and given he has not yet committed his future to the Blues, Spurs are allegedly monitoring the player's situation closely.
Gallagher’s future may be dependent on Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's situation at Tottenham. The Dane, who has attracted interest from the likes of Juventus, would reportedly need to leave Spurs to make room for the Chelsea star.

Sky Sports even suggested that the idea of a Hojbjerg-Gallagher swap deal in January has been mooted.
The publication added that it was uncertain whether or not Chelsea were interested in Hojbjerg, but stressed that the club would look for another defensively-minded midfielder should Gallagher leave the club.
Gallagher has been at Chelsea since he was 15, and played 65 first-team games, having broken into the side after an impressive loan spell with Crystal Palace.
Meanwhile, England boss Gareth Southgate is also a fan, having capped the player 11 times to date.

Mauricio Pochettino has already called for the Blues to look at the January market to "change the dynamic" at the club, after enduring an inconsistent start to the Premier League campaign, which has left them 10th after 17 games.
