Fans have taken to social media to criticise Anthony Taylor after he broke a Premier League record during the match between Chelsea and Bournemouth.
Enzo Maresca sealed his second Premier League win since taking over as Chelsea manager with a 1-0 victory over Bournemouth at the Vitality stadium.
A late goal from substitute Christopher Nkunku, assisted by Jadon Sancho who was making his club debut, secured the three points for the visitors.

However, fans are not happy with referee Anthony Taylor after it was revealed that his actions during the match broke a long-standing Premier League record.
During the match, Taylor handed out 14 yellow cards to players, smashing the record set for the most yellow cards shown in a single Premier League game.
The previous record was first set in August 2010 during the match between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Newcastle United and was later equalised by Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur's May 2016 meeting.

Reacting to their new record, a Chelsea fan wrote on X: "Anthony Taylor can never be forgiven for his crimes against Chelsea football club."
Another fan added: "Historic number of yellows for a game that genuinely has had very little bite to it. Anthony Taylor legit just wanted to set a record."
While one joked: "I just heard Anthony Taylor booked the tea lady after the game for asking how many sugars he wanted. Taylor doesn’t eat sugar after 9pm."
Many fans also pointed out that they believed some of the bookings handed out by Taylor during the match were unjustified.

One fan wrote: "Anthony Taylor gives Colwill a yellow for winning the ball. Worst in the world, by far."
Another agreed that the defender should not have been booked for his tackle, writing: "That’s a perfect tackle from Colwill?? Anthony Taylor is an absolute joke"
Chelsea received eight bookings during the game, with the hosts being shown a further six yellow cards during the match.

Despite this, the Blues were able to claim all three points from the match after Nkunku found the back of the net just seven minutes after coming on to replace Nicolas Jackson.
