PSV and the municipality of Eindhoven have submitted an official request to UEFA ahead of Friday's Champions League draw, according to reports.
Peter Bosz's side booked their place in the Champions League round of 16 draw on Wednesday night with a memorable 3-1 victory over Juventus in the second leg of their play-off tie.
After losing 2-1 in the first leg, PSV managed to level the game on aggregate after 90 minutes before defender Ryan Flamingo netted a dramatic 98th-minute winner to advance.

The Dutch outfit will face either Arsenal or Inter Milan in the round of 16, with the draw taking place from 11am GMT on Friday morning at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland.
Ahead of the draw, it has emerged that PSV and the municipality of Eindhoven have submitted an usual request to UEFA to play their last-16 home match on Wednesday 5 March rather than Tuesday 4 March.
A report from De Telegraaf suggests PSV have made the request because Tuesday is the last day of the carnival.

For five days between February 28 and March 4th, the centre of Eindhoven, which is called Lampegat during carnival, transforms into a gigantic festival site which requires increased police presence.
In fact, police deployment is the key reason for the request to UEFA, according to the above report.
This isn't the first time PSV have submitted a carnival request to UEFA but back in 2007, the European Football Association rejected the appeal and Eindhoven were forced to play against Arsenal on a Tuesday night.

As mentioned above, the Champions League last-16 draw will take place on Friday and will start at 11am UK time.
The top eight clubs will be paired based on their final league position: 1st and 2nd, 3rd and 4th, and so on, meaning Arsenal, for example, will be paired with Inter Milan.
Arsenal will then be drawn into one of two spots in the bracket, now occupied by Feyenoord or PSV Eindhoven.
Four bowls are prepared for the draw, with the balls containing the names of each pair of seeded teams. The first selected will be placed in the top reserved spot on the bracket, with the second allocated to the corresponding reserved spot on the other side of the bracket.

Therefore whoever is drawn first between Arsenal and Inter Milan will face PSV, leaving the other to face Feyenoord.
