Fans were not happy with what Thierry Henry had to say about Kylian Mbappe after Paris Saint-Germain crashed out of the Champions League.
Everything looked set up for Mbappe to end his time at Paris Saint-Germain with a Champions League final clash against his likely new club, Real Madrid, until Borussia Dortmund reminded everyone that football is not played on paper.
Despite enduring a difficult campaign in the Bundesliga, Dortmund remarkably shutout Mbappe and his PSG teammates

for the second time in a week to win the semi-final second leg 1-0 and advance to the final.
Dortmund defended valiantly, with veteran centre-back Mats Hummels sweeping up anything that came near him as well as scoring the game's only goal.
The visitors at the Parc des Princes benefited from some good fortune, with PSG hitting the woodwork on four occasions as they tried in vain to get back into the tie.

Mbappe has scored 43 goals and assisted a further 10 in all competitions this season, but he was unusually quiet on the night.
The 25-year-old, who is expected to join Real Madrid when his PSG contract expires this summer, struggled to affect the game and looked uncomfortable as he increasingly found himself in central positions rather than his preferred left flank role.
Mbappe will leave the club having won six Ligue 1 titles in seven seasons, but he has failed to deliver an elusive Champions League crown to a club desperate to win one.
The absence of a Champions League winner's medal has called into question Mbappe's place in PSG's hall of fame.

Speaking after the match on CBS Sports, former France striker Thierry Henry was asked whether Mbappe is PSG's greatest ever player.
"It's not even a discussion," he replied.
"For me Mbappe, with the impact he had all over the world and what he has been doing, he will go down as the best player for PSG.

"He can leave this club with his head held really high. Not everyone can win everywhere, especially the Champions League.
"The big man played well all his career with PSG, so I am not going to judge him on not winning the Champions League."
It's fair to say many fans didn't agree with Henry's call.
"Not even third best, after Thiago / Neymar," one fan said, while another commented, "Ronaldinho springs to mind, Mbappe is not any where close to his level."

One supporter argued that "Neymar did more for PSG," while another another asked, "What has he done apart from winning the league?"
Some fans suggested that Zlatan Ibrahimovic and George Weah were better than Mbappe, despite the fact the 25-year-old is the club's all-time leading goalscorer with 255 goals.
However, one fan wasn't having it, saying: "Mbappe is a failure at PSG, wasted money."
