The UEFA Champions League will be shown by new broadcasters in the UK for the 24/25 season.
The Champions League will finally return to our screens this week with a brand new format which will see an increase from 32 to 36 teams.
Clubs will now play eight matches each as part of a new singular group stage in an attempt to reach the knockout stages of the competition.

The top eight teams will automatically qualify for the last 16 phase, while the teams placed from ninth to 24th will contest the play-off round.
However, another significant change to how we view Europe's premier football competition comes through a brand new broadcaster.
Since 2015, all Champions League matches have been shown on TNT Sports, previously known as BT Sport.
They managed to win exclusive rights to Europe’s premier club competition from the likes of ITV and Sky Sports.

However, it's now the turn of Amazon Prime and BBC who also secured rights to show the competition ahead of the 24/25 season.
Amazon Prime Video will show 17 first-pick Champions League matches on Tuesday night, which will include Liverpool's opening fixture against AC Milan.
And perhaps more significantly for terrestrial TV viewers, BBC will show highlights of the competition with a special Wednesday edition of Match of the Day - the first time the Champions League will be shown by the broadcaster since 1994.

BBC previously had an association with the competition since the inaugural European Cup final in 1956 until 1994, but Amazon will be showing the competition for the first time ever.
TNT Sports will still hold exclusive rights to show the Europa League and Europa Conference League.
The new rights deal will span between 2024 and 2027, meaning the trio of broadcasters will show at least the first three seasons of the Champions League in its brand-new format.
