One punter won an outrageous bet during the Carabao Cup final between Liverpool and Newcastle United.
Eddie Howe's men produced a heroic display in front of a packed crowd inside Wembley Stadium as they denied Arne Slot a first trophy as Liverpool boss.
Goals from Dan Burn and Alexander Isak were enough to secure a 2-1 victory, ending their 70-year wait for a major trophy.

Federico Chiesa scored in stoppage time to threaten a late comeback but Liverpool were ultimately second best.
Burn's opener on the stroke of half-time sent Newcastle fans into pandemonium as he rose highest to head in a corner from Kieran Trippier.

That goal also won big money for one lucky punter, who had put on a bet for Tripper to assist and Burn to score, which was priced at 81/1.

The punter's £25 bet returned a whopping £2000.
Posting a screenshot of the bet on social media, the fan wrote: "VIVA DAN BURN."
Speaking after the match, Burn, who received his first England call-up earlier in the week, said: "I've had worse weeks. I don't want to go to sleep because I feel like I'm dreaming and it's all going to be a lie.
"I don't get many so I saved it for a big occasion. I feel strange, I feel numb at the minute."

He continued: "I'll be first there tomorrow [at England training] at 8 o'clock."

Magpies boss Howe was also full of praise for his defender, he said: "What a few days for Dan. His performance today was colossal at the back.
"We were working on those corners tirelessly for two weeks. He's delivered one from long range. Incredible header. So fitting it's him."

Explaining why Burn was allowed the freedom of Wembley to head Trippier's corner into the back of the net, Liverpool boss Slot said: "We have five players zonally close to our goal. If the ball comes there we have our five strongest players to attack the ball.
"Normally a player runs to the zone. Normally, and I think he's an exception, I've never seen in my life a player from that far away heading a ball with so much force into the far corner. 99 out of 100 times that will not lead to a goal."
The Dutchman added: "Credit to him, he's one of the few players that can score a goal from that distance with his head."
