Fans think they have managed to unmask the mystery Premier League player who was involved in the Beta Squad vs AMP (Any Means Possible) charity match.

On Sunday afternoon, the two teams went head-to-head at Crystal Palace’s home turf, Selhurst Park.

The match included a mix of YouTubers and social media stars from around the globe as they put on a show to raise money for the Water Project.

AMP team had the likes of Twitch streamer Kai Cenat, British YouTubers WillNe, Angry Ginge and American sensation Sketch.

Meanwhile, the Beta Squad boasted the likes of Niko Omilana, Chunkz, AJ Shabeel, Sharky and King Kenny TV.

In addition, it was believed that the AMP team included a mystery professional footballer who plays for a Premier League side, who remained masked during his appearance.

Sharky explained: “This player will be wearing a mask and the reason is because this player has played in the Premier League and is playing current professional football - Champions League level. So we can't reveal his identity.”

Reacting on social media, fans believed that Tottenham Hotspur full-back Djed Spence was the player in question.

One fan said: “Yeah the mystery player is definitely Djed Spence, look at the running style and body.”

Another tweeted: “Hmm… maybe it was Djed Spence?.”

Someone else wrote: “Djed Spence in the charity match was vibes still.”

A fifth commented: “Apparently it was djed Spence who played the YouTubers charity game today.”

However, the match was abandoned in stoppage time with the score level at 6-6 due to a pitch invasion, a rematch is reportedly set to take place in the United States.
