Fans think Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White published and swiftly deleted a post reacting to his omission from Gareth Southgate's latest England squad.
Southgate named his 33-man preliminary squad for Euro 2024 on Tuesday afternoon ahead of England's upcoming friendlies against Iceland and Bosnia and Herzegovina - their final warm-up matches for this summer's tournament in Germany.
Southgate left several experienced players out of the squad including Jordan Henderson, Marcus Rashford and Eric Dier - while Ben White was also omitted due to his self-imposed international exile.

Rashford was the first player to react to being left out of the squad, posting on Instagram: "Wishing Gareth and the boys all the best for the up and coming tournament."
Other names to miss the cut include Fikayo Tomori, Raheem Sterling and Jadon Sancho, with Forest star Gibbs-White also being overlooked by Southgate.
Gibbs-White helped Forest avoid relegation this season, scoring five goals and providing 10 assists in the Premier League.

But that was not enough to make the squad.
After England officially announced Southgate's picks, Gibbs-White posted a cryptic message on his Instagram story.
The former England youth player, who was part of the team that won the U17 World Cup in 2017, posted a series of crying-laughing emojis, which he then swiftly deleted.
Fans believe the post may have been related to the England squad announcement.
"Gibbs-White acting like a 14 year old on snapchat after not being selected," posted one fan.

Another added: "Gibbs-White isn't happy with the England selection then."
While a third posted: "Morgan Gibbs White is understandably not very happy seeing the England squad."
Gibbs-White looks almost certainly set to miss out when Southgate announces his final 26-man England squad for the Euros on June 8.
England first face Iceland in a friendly on June 3 before taking on Bosnia and Herzegovina on June 7.
