Barcelona star Raphinha reportedly turned down an offer to move to the Premier League this summer.
Brazilian winger Raphinha was the star of the show on Wednesday night as he netted a hat-trick to help Barcelona beat Bayern Munich 4-1 in the Champions League.
So far in the 24/25 season, the 27-year-old has scored nine goals and assisted eight in 13 appearances across all competitions.
However, things could have been so different as Raphinha was actually heavily linked with a move away from Catalan during the summer transfer window.

Back in September, Relevo reported that Raphinha rejected a move to Saudi Professional League side Al Nassr, who offered Barcelona €80 million for the forward.
In addition, it was suggested that Premier League giants Chelsea were also interested in signing Raphinha but the Brazilian only wanted to stay with Barcelona.
Speaking after the match, Barcelona boss Hansi Flick heaped praise on Raphinha: “He is a good example of how the team can function. He always has a good attitude in training and in matches. For us he is very important, also because of the counter-pressure he does. And also because of how he prepares to score.
“He has good dynamics with the ball and he has had an extraordinary match. His offensive and defensive dynamics, and his good technique, are something special. I have never had a player like him and he helps us a lot.”

Flick then spoke about youngster Marc Casado, wh played a brilliant pass for one of Raphinha’s goals.
The German added: “It’s incredible, if you know that Casadó comes from Barça Atlètic and you see the level he has now... He’s incredibly good defensively and with the ball at his feet.
“It’s La Masia , it’s La Masia. Everyone in the stadium sees the quality of these players. You could see when we had confidence, in the second half, how we passed the ball around, it was incredible. Everyone was happy, including the staff.”
